I’m looking for a couple of black sheep……

As most photographers do, I sometimes get very excited about certain things I would like to work on. However, this one particular thing is kind of tricky because of pre-conceived notions of what weddings should be like.

I am looking for a couple who is willing to get ready together before their wedding ceremony. And I mean completely…not getting ready separately and then having a ‘first look’. I mean lounging together, having brunch together, then getting dressed together.

This could be before a large wedding, or even before an elopement. If you think this is something you would love to do then please get in touch. I promise you it will be sooooo worth it!

Some people will probably say I can do a posed shoot of this, but I don’t see any excitement in pretending. I want to photograph this on a couples real wedding day with real moments.

Okay – that’s all……..

Heather + Kylie’s Wedding – Texan’s in Massachusetts

Okay – Heather’s side isn’t from the south, but Kylie’s is. He stole Heather and has her living down in Texas with him now, so I guess it only made sense to have the wedding closer to her family a few months ago, and I am glad they did!

Here are just a few highlights from the first part of their day. More to come.

Thanks to Ashley Stelzer for coming out and second shooting with me!

Not Justin - We need to see more of that cat shirt! That thing is the cats ass!

THE LOVESICK EXPO came to Boston for it’s second year this past weekend! Last year I was unfortunately too late in applying, but for 2014 I was so stoked to be apart of the team of amazing vendors taking part in the event.

Yes, my Photo Booth got an interesting facelift for this event. I am stoked to announced that the flamingos (and some other TBD custom stuff) will be a Photo Booth add on for my couples starting right now. Woohoooo! Its quite a labor of love to set up, but SOOOOOOOO worth it!!!

Special thanks go out to Ashley Stelzer for taming the flamingos and helping with everything. To everyone from Lovesick Inc, thank you all for having me! It was an awesome time and I hope nothing but success to you all with keeping this going for as long as possible. Oh, and I also got to meet Ariel of OffBeat Bride who I love and have been supporting for years!!! HELL YEAH. Such an awesome team.

The Flamingo Booth photos will all be up on my business Facebook page: www.facebook.com/YaritzaColonPhotography
