Natalie + Greg // Vermont Wedding // Scott Farm – Dummerston

Some getting ready photos for Natalie, and a couple of the ‘First Look’ photos! These two chose Scott Farm in Vermont for their wedding day – and fun fact, it’s also the place where Cider House Rules was filmed.

Another blog with the awesome ceremony and reception to follow in a couple days!

Anna + Nick’s Elopement // Saint Joseph’s Abbey

Anna and Nick decided it was time to get married before Nick headed overseas. They were surrounded by just a few close family members and their daughter (and a couple family members who are living in Spain were also able to watch – Technology for the win!) at Saint Joseph’s Abbey in Spencer, MA. That’s right…the place monks make that Trappist Preserves we see in stores. I don’t believe they hold weddings otherwise, but they were able to get permission to be married on Saint Joseph’s Abbey grounds. I also got news that the monks there will start making Trappist Beer soon as well… whoa.

Congrats Anna + Nick!

A few film shots in there, taken with the F100 on Portra 400.

Portland, Maine // Sailboat Proposal

Mike had been emailing me for a few weeks, planning his proposal to Kristi. He knew he wanted it to be on a Schooner…and even though they live in Maine, the original plan was for it to happen in Boston. But then the boat he wanted was going to be in Gloucester on the weekend he chose….but then the engagement ring wasnt going to be done in time……and then Kristi had to work….and ahhhhhh!!!!

It was then decided that I would make the short drive up to Maine, and the proposal would happen on The Wendameen (Portland Schooner Co.) during one of their Sunset Sails (Unfortunately the weather was overcast – but it was still an awesome time). During the sail, Mike slyly asked if I would take their photo on their boat – pretending as if I was just a random boat go-er….and then it happened! Woohoo!

After the boat ride, we walked around a bit and eventually made our way over to DUCKFAT……..which I will let you Google on your own…
