I first met Ai-Ya at a previous wedding I photographed for her friends Fe and Dan (Click here for their wedding!) I had no idea she was a bride to be herself, so I was pleasantly surprised when we first met to talk over wedding details along with her fiance Ben. Their ceremony was to take place in the same church, the First Baptist Church of Amherst followed by a reception at the UMass Hotel at the Campus Center.
Ai-Ya’s family came all the way from Taiwan for the event! Her parents, brothers, aunt, and little cousins. I noticed that the three little cousins looked like they were all the same age. I later found out they are actually triplets! Very neat!
Upon arriving to the church, Ben and another guest were looking up at the cross on top of the church because they noticed this hanging out there…a hawk!!!
