Aldrich Mansion Wedding | M + K | Warwick, RI
These two returned to the North East from Atlanta for their Aldrich Mansion Wedding. M even drove up the coast just a few days before so their dog could join for a little while! Such an amazing day. Here’s the crew who made it all possible:
Planner: Kristin Nicole Events // Hair&Make up: Bella Rose Beauty // Band: East Coast Soul // Desserts: Scrumptions // Florist: Cherry Hill Florist // Frozen Lemonade: Del’s Lemonade
The Aldrich Mansion wedding in Warwick, RI was one of those days where every piece of the venue worked in favor of the camera and the vibe — gorgeous architecture, water views, old‑school details, and plenty of chances for candid, fun moments. These two came up from out of town, including a mini road trip with their dog just days before, so right from the start the day felt spontaneous and full of personality.
Getting ready happened inside the mansion’s rooms filled with natural light, old‑world finishes, and those little textural details that make images pop — think antique wood, high ceilings, and cascading sunlight hitting bouquets and laughter‑filled prep rooms. The energy was loose and joyful, which carried into the ceremony and reception without missing a beat.
Aldrich Mansion itself is something else — a French‑chateau‑inspired estate set on 70+ acres overlooking Narragansett Bay, with sculptural staircases, marble floors, and plenty of spots to wander around for portraits. Throughout the day there were shots on film mixed in, giving some frames a kind of nostalgic, playful texture that matched the day’s overall vibe.
One of my favorite parts of shooting here is the variety in the space: big foyers that turned into spontaneous dance spots, conversation‑filled corners with ornate woodwork in the background, and wide lawns that made for great group shots and plenty of room for guests to mingle without feeling like photos were staged. The mix of marble, light, and architectural details added visual depth, especially once the party picked up and people were moving, laughing, and celebrating in real time.
By the time the dance floor was jumping and the night rolled on, the mansion’s vibe — historical yet lively — felt like it was made for this kind of celebration. The result was a gallery full of images that are energetic, vibrant, and totally reflective of the day’s atmosphere.
