Eric Carle Museum was bold, warm, and beautifully unexpected at every turn. From the timeless charm of Amherst South Church to the playful, art‑filled spaces of the Eric Carle Museum. Every image felt like a storybook come to life.
The day began with E + B preparing in calm anticipation. Classic wedding prep photos with a soft glow, heartfelt laughs over letters, and quiet moments before the ceremony. The Amherst South Church ceremony was emotional and elegant. The kind of celebration where every glance felt significant and every smile was genuine.
But the real magic happened at the reception at the Eric Carle Museum in Amherst, MA. Surrounded by vibrant artwork and colorful galleries. The same creative spirit that makes the museum a beloved space for picture book art. E + B and their people danced, toasted, and lived into their celebration. I couldn’t get enough of the way light played on textured walls and how candid laughs were framed by whimsical art installations.
There were joyful moments on the dance floor, candid toasts, and portraits that felt as fun and authentic as the couple themselves. The way E + B interacted, relaxed, full of delight, totally in the moment, made every image feel effortless and alive.
Shooting a wedding at a museum like the Eric Carle Museum is unlike anything else: the art, colors, and open spaces bring something inherently joyful to the images, and this celebration didn’t disappoint. Between the emotion at the church and the creative energy at the museum, this day was beautifully unique and beautifully them.
